Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies: No Shortcuts, Just Pure Decadence

If you're looking for a "lightened-up" brownie, you’re in the wrong place. We didn’t just refuse to cut corners—we bulldozed through them with a chocolate-covered wrecking ball. These Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies are the definition of indulgence, packed with three layers of rich, velvety chocolate that will have you questioning why anyone would ever settle for anything less.

We spared no expense on decadence because, quite frankly, why would we? Some things in life are meant to be enjoyed without guilt, hesitation, or an ingredient list that includes words like "substituted," "low-fat," or (shudder) "carob", as a kid, I was actually allergic to chocolate and had to eat carob. No, these brownies are unapologetically rich, ridiculously fudgy, and so chocolatey that you might need to sit down before taking your first bite.

What Makes These Brownies So Extra?

Glad you asked. These beauties are made with three kinds of chocolate: dutch-process cacao powder for that intense chocolate base, white chocolate for that sweet, buttery, and creamy taste with hints of vanilla and fresh milk, and semi-sweet chocolate chips folded right into the batter for that gooey, melty perfection.

The result? A brownie that’s crisp on the edges, fudgy in the center, and absolutely packed with chocolate flavor. No compromises, no shortcuts—just pure, undiluted indulgence.

The Ultimate Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter

  • ¾ cup flour

  • ¼ cup dutch-process cacao powder

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ⅛ cup light brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3-5oz white chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line an 8x8”pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa. Set aside. In another medium bowl, add chocolate chips and butter and microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted. Set aside to cool at room temperature.

  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugars, vanilla, and olive oil. Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and mix until combined. Add flour mixture into the batter and fold just until combined. Transfer half of the batter to the pan and sprinkle with white chocolate pieces. Then transfer the remaining batter over the chocolate pieces and evenly spread.

  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. Let cool (if you can wait that long), then slice and devour.
